Emotionalize your website: Powerful new controls for background images

One of the secrets to making your website more visually appealing is by displaying a large image in the background behind your website. As the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, so instead of explaining why in a paragraph or two of text, we made a picture where you can see what we mean:

We have updated the sitebuilder tools for setting your website background, and you now have much more control to make it just the way you want it. Here’s what you can do:

» Set a solid color or gradient fill as background

» Use a small tiling background image

» Use a large image

You can upload an image yourself, or save time by choosing one directly from our library of background images:

To change your background, start the website builder and in the “Template” [a] tab select “Edit Template” [b], then select “Background” [c]:
